jack Nicholson palyed his part very well! He gave the patients hope and showed them they really weren't crazy and the Dr's did not like him because he rebelled against them. He got the patients to come out of their shells.

Patch Adams! Great movie because it is a true story. Can you imagine if Dr's would not just treat the disease but the person. I loved the movie.

If I taught in a medical school, two of these movies would be on the must-see-to-pass-this-course list. 1) The Doctor & 2) The Hospital. There were a couple I haven't seen, so I can't offer an opinion of them. Doctors and hospital administrators should see the above two each and every year to remind them of their own humanity (and ours).
