Health Alliance has six hospitals currently in its system of the Greater Cincinnati Area, which includes Fort Hamilton Hosp., The Jewish Hosp., University of Cincinnati Medical Ctr., Christ Hospital and St. Luke East and St. Luke West. Also a rehab facility called The Drake Center and numerous service acct. clients.
They are to picky about things that are no concern to them. The employees work hard and are treated terrible
Advice for prospective applicants:

I believe the Health Alliance deserves above average ratings in patient care. They have excellent staff and attentive staff with patient care but as most businesses in this economy my department has had the same pay for transcriptionists for many years. Advancement is not even talked about at department meetings.
Advice for prospective applicants:
If you are looking to do transcription it is paid by the line. It is also a hospital setting so you will be doing rotating weekends. I have been with this company a little over 5 years and I am still getting paid the same amount per line. It does not seem to matter that I do get a small raise every year in my hourly rate because we actually get paid by line count.
