Video Uploading Guide
Got a great video to share? We recently changed the way our members can submit videos to share with their friends on AllHealthcare! There are three ways you can submit a video to the AllHealthcare video service.
Requirements:
• Windows: 2000, XP and Vista
• Mac: OS X 10.3.9+
Uploading Videos from Another Website
If you want to upload a video you found on another website (like YouTube):
1) Go to the Video tab on AllHealthcare and click on “Submit a Video.”
2) Select the option “I’d like to submit a video from another website.”
3) Give the video a title and description, and select a category.
4) Paste the link to the video you would like to upload into the given field.
5) Hit “Submit” and you are done!
Embedding Videos from Another Website
If you would like to embed a video you found on another website (like YouTube):
1) Follow instructions #1 – 3 above.
2) Copy the given “Embed” code included with the video.
3) Paste the “Embed” code into the blank field on the AllHealthcare video upload page.
4) Hit “Submit” and you are done!
Videos uploaded in either of these manners can by any length.
Uploading Videos from Your Computer
If you already have the video saved to your computer:
1) Be sure it is in the proper format. The easiest to use is .flv formatting.
VideoEgg may also support: .3gp, 3gp2, .avi, .dv, .mpg, .mpg4, .mov, .mqv, .wmv, .asf
2) Under AllHealthCare’s “Video” tab, click on “Submit a Video”
3) Type in the “Title” and “Description” of the Video.
4) Select a category for your video.
5) Either drag and drop your video into the VideoEgg uploader, or click “Browse My Computer” and select the video you wish to upload.
6) Hit “Submit” and you are done!
