Posted 6 months ago People always want to know if it's too late for them to x, or y, or z. The answer is its rarely, if ever, too late. What's the latest age you've heard of anyone changing careers into health? I have one very dear friend who went to med school at age 40. And she is a fantastic physician. Today I got an email from someone who is 51 and becoming an OT - cool. I think OT would be very good stuff to know at this age. I am 53 myself. And I work with almost all 22 year olds. |

| Posted 2 months ago I received a Biomedical Technology degree (Assoc.) back in '95, but did not use it (could not find a job after I got it). So, I got into production manufacturing with computers (quality) and was with a few companies.....they kept merging into other companies.....and lost sight of my biomedical degree asperations. So, now that I am looking for a job due to a workforce reduction, I am being told by a few contacts that I may need to go back to school to refresh my skills in the biomedical field. This may be easier said than done..... |
