My technique is no secret...I use one needle to draw up the injectable and a new one to do the injection. I was always taught that once a needle penetrates the rubber stopper it dulls the sharpness. I do not do the jabbing most students are taught in school. I tell my patient to relax as much as possible, keep the arm (or area to be injected) relaxed and slowly push through the surface of the skin. I so far (knock on wood) have not had any complaints.
