What can keep you from being hired as an RN?

Posted 2 months ago I Lost my job a year ago and my credit has tanked since. Losing my house, car rep...etc. I have been in school for a year now pursuing acceptance into a nursing program. Will my bad credit prevent me from being hired by a hospital? I am also considering bankruptcy, will that have any negative effect? Thank you for responses. |

| Posted 20 days ago Dear Wannabe: I've been in the healthcare field most of my adult life. If you are interested in becoming a registered nurse and succeed, nothing short of murder can stop you from being hired. I know R.N.s who did contracts and weren't even asked for references. By all means --Go for it!!!!
