Posted 4 months ago Have you, or anyone you know, ever refused healthcare service to someone because of your personal beliefs? (For example, refusing to sell Plan B because of your views on birth control and/or abortion). |

| Posted 2 months ago No, never have, never would, and I think that those types of people who would are the absolute scum of the earth. Since this particular thread is anonymous, let's lay it out there. What the conservatives in Washington want, or more appropriately the reality that would come about by what they think they want can be summed up in two words: COAT HANGERS!!! Hundreds of documented, and thousands of undocumented women bled to death because their only viable option when their husbands/ boyfriends/ bosses raped them, and or hell, lets face it birth controll wasn't really around back then either, and they got pregnant, was to go to a back ally " " "doctor" " " who used a coat hanger to scrape the uterin walls in an attempt to cause a miscarage, more often simply causing the "patient," to bleed to death, and if lucky to make it to a hospital in time, never be able to have kids again. What you suggest is tantamount to coat hangers. If you speak of yourself, I spit on you. If you speak of a co-worker, then find a way around them. There is absolutely no place for your personal conversation with god in a healthcare setting. |
