I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT BECOMING AN RN ,AND I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS .HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO GO TO COLLEGE TO BECOME AN RN ?IS GETTING YOUR BACHELORS IN RN BETTER THAN JUST GETTING YOUR RN LICENSE? WILL I BE ABLE TO FIND A JOB WITH JUST MY RN'S?AND WHAT IS THE AVERAGE PAY FOR AN LICENSED RN?

Hey Jorgia,

One of the great things about becoming an RN is that there are so many paths toward achieving your goals! You can get your RN license by obtaining an Associate Degree in Nursing (2 yrs) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (4 yrs). There are even accelerated BSN degrees (1-2yrs) that are great for people who already hold a Bachelor's degree. Even better, RNs are in demand! Nursing is the fastest growing healthcare profession. For more information, check out our 10 Step Guide to Becoming a Nurse.

Good luck!
