How much do you find your commute affects your job?  Is is super long, and you find yourself tired because you leave too early?  Do you have to deal with a lot of traffic, and so find yourself stressed out?  How much does this translate to your co-workers and patients, and what are some of the ways that you have come up with to deal with commute related woes?

Just thought it might be an interesting topic, since so many of us have to take jobs at whatever hospital will take us, and don't always have the option to move next door.

You hit a raw nerve with me, I used to commute everyday for 2 hours to work and 2 hours home, for 8 years.  It leaves you tired and feeling like 10 miles of bad road!  I still commute 2 hours about 3 days a week, but even the extra 2 days from commuting helps!   Thank goodness, I am not paying the gas bill!   See Ya on the Road!
