Are pharmacy technicians over-rated?

Posted 2 months ago I have completed my internship as a pharmacy technician and i have noticed that some people dont consider this to be a profession. As a future technician, I must admitt, there are alot of things that we do in assisting the pharmacist. Some people do it for the money, but i do it for the satisfaction of knowing the patients are getting quality medicine, a friendly smile, and someone who cares enough to just listen. |

| Posted 2 months ago Don't let others spoil your party, so to speak. You know that you're performing a usefull service to the pharmacist, and you are enjoying what you do. Don't let other people in their perpetual need to find something to kvetch about get in your way. Healthcare is growing, and as much as some individuals like to believe that they are supermen/women and need no help, it is only because their egos have yet to encounter a sufficiently sized pin. There are far more people out their who will quietly appreciate what you do, because they know you make their lives easier, and a few who will let you know. Don't make the mistake of thinking that those few who don't appreciate you represent a majority. |
