Everybody needs a big vacation once in awhile - especially healthcare workers. What are your ideas for any upcoming spring or summer vacations? What place would be ideal?

I always like to hit the beach. I am taking some time off to go to Miami Florida this summer. Last year I went to Maui. I would advise to get your tickets early. I bought mine at half the price that they sell for now.

I just like getting away in nature. Some place like Yosemite is a fave for me. Or Italy!

I just went to Santa Fe NM for a 2 day getaway and thought it was fantastic. There are so many great art museums and then the hiking in the countryside is, of course, amazing! I thought things were much more affordable than I had thought I took a drive up to Ghost Ranch, about 2 hours north of Santa Fe and would recommend that to anyone. Southwest flights to Santa Fe were only $100 from the West Coast each way and a rental car was only about $50 for two days.

One funny thing - driving from the airport in Alburquerque to Santa Fe I saw a giant billboard advertising for doctors, nurses and dentists to move to NM!

Come to the beautiful Napa Valley! Visit our beautiful valley and learn about its rich history, but of course come wine tasting, food tasting and it is a great area during this season to bike and hike. There are many great restaurants of all kinds--can you tell I love to eat--some have live bands on WE and the night life is diverse (lounges, bars).

I have to agree that the South West has some of the most wonderfull sights to see.  Grand Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns, Badlands, and easy commute up to Yellowstone, and countless other parks such as Crater, etc.  But Hawaii is also a great place for geological wonders, Big island has the active volcanoes, but Maoi and Haleacala is one heck of an awsome hike.
