| Posted 8 months ago I was born and raised in France, and I have been living in California, and the USA for that matter, for almost 10 years. I consider myself to be very cosmopolitan as most of my friends come from other countries as well. I am fluent in 3 different languages and married to a young man from Mexico. I love to travel and meet different people and learn about their culture, language, cuisine and ways of living. Than is one of the reason why I have decided to become a doctor for I feel that such a career can be practiced in many different settings and for as long as one has the ability to perform the skills necessary, and has the open mind to work in any environment/circumstance with any kind of individual. | Posted 6 months ago Hi, Glad to be here. I live in a small town in Northern Colorado. I have lived here for 14 years but I was originally from Omaha, Nebraska. Thats right I am a corn husker and Im proud of that. I am also happy that I came to Colorado it is beautiful here. |

| Posted 6 months ago Wow! There are a lot of people from outside the US. For those of you who were not born here, what are some of the challenges of trying to enter the healthcare field for you? Aside of (possibly) having to learn a new language, what other obstacles have you had to overcome?

Now I work around the greater Philadelphia area, but love to travel. I've been out west, been to Hawaii, Maine, Italy, Greece, and will always be adding more places. |

| Posted about 1 month ago Hey guys, My name is Nichian and I am originally from Suriname, a small country in South-America. It borders Brasil, Guyana and French-Guyana. Our main language is dutch, since our country was a colony of Holland. Besides dutch we have our own language which is called sranang tongo. Our food is amazing !!! Everybody has learned to eat atleast one dish from every culture there is, which is why our variety of food is as wide as the ocean lolzz...The weather there is very nice and the people are very friendly. Our population counts about 600,000 citizens does not include all the brasilians that move there and stay for a little while. The type of people you meet there come from different cultures and races. Suriname is well-know for its nature. Special tours to the different islands and mountains with true nature. It's pretty amazing. Anywayss, I currently live in Florida, its been about 5 months since i moved down here from Maryland where I attended UMBC. I spent 2 years majoring in biological sciences, lived on campus was a good and fun experience. I decided to move down here since my parents bought a house and was closer to my home country. It was then easier for me to take a flight there and the weather reminds me more of back home. So everything works out for me. I have the weather that reminds me of home, a house close to me family and friends it's all a girl could ask for.hehe atleast me then. I am looking forward to using this website as a tool on the road to success in my career as a anesthetician. Sincerely, Nichy |
