MRI Anomalies

Posted 10 months ago I used to do MRI research on kids with posttraumatic stress disorder. We had a freak think where 2 participants, out of 57, had huge temporal lobe cysts. One was a ptsd kid and the other was a control kid, so it wasn't due to trauma. It was the first time I'd really seen a brain abnormality in the scans, and it was crazy how big they were. The kids were cognitively fine but I'm curious if they had any effects on function. |
